XLR8 Leadership Framework

· Our Philosophy

Starting with Leading Self, we begin the Awareness process for an individual contributor. Who am I/ Who do I want to be? What do I value? What do I stand for and how do I intend to authentically show up as an individual, a leader, team member, spouse or parent? At this level we establish clarity around "my" personal purpose and values.

From there we move to Leading In relationships where we discover how we show up and connect with others. Using DISC behavioral analysis tools supplemented by the TEAMS and VALUES assessments we emphasize empathy and connection as foundational tools to maintain trust with those we interact with. This is where we emphasize the concept of Respect in a massively divided world and "I've got your back"

The indiviual phases transition to team and team of teams (organizations) phases next.

The Leading in Teams emphasizes Alignment where the focus is on how we communicate priorities, WHY it is important and dig deep on what success looks like in a team. We place emphasis on One Team which helps build to the organizational level. In this phase we move past the positional and permission levels of leadership to developing others and focusing on blending individual strengths to accomplish team objectives.

Lastly, we look at Leading in Organizations or a Team of Teams. We focus on One Team and the ripple affect (both positive and negative) that a specific team can have on the larger team of teams. Aspirational cultural imperatives are established to guide the team on expected behavior recognizing that reality will change. We need to establish the agility to reframe reality and keep momentum moving forward with strategic resilience.
